Third Annual Concourse Village Family Day

You should know that the Third Annual Concourse Village Family Day will be taking place this Saturday, August 22, 2015 starting at 12 noon at Concourse Plaza East in Bronx County.

The Concourse Village Family Day was founded by Senator Reverend Ruben Diaz after district lines were redistributed in accordance with the 2010 Census legislation and the 32nd Senatorial District, represented by Senator Diaz, would include Concourse Village.

For the past three years, this event has grown to the point that elected officials representing the area have joined Senator Diaz in becoming equal co-sponsors of the affair.  Besides Senator Diaz, this year’s sponsors include Congressman José Serrano, Assemblyman Michael Blake and City Council Member Vanessa Gibson.

The 2015 Concourse Village Family Day will include free food, refreshments, children’s games, face-painting, Moon-Bounce, live music and entertainment.
