Where: FDR Site (Wallace Center, Multi-Purpose Room)
On Tuesday, June 30, 2015 Senator Sue Serino will be joined at the FDR Site in Hyde Park by Members of the NYS Taskforce on Lyme and Tick-Borne Diseases and a panel of experts for a community forum on combating the spread of Lyme Disease. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m.
“When it comes to combating Lyme Disease, information is power,” said Senator Sue Serino. “The goal of this free event is to raise awareness for Lyme by bringing important information directly to the community. Tick season is in full swing and I want to empower community members by arming them with the information they need to safeguard their families and their pets this summer.”
Members of the panel will use short presentations to provide tips and resources for preventing the spread of Lyme and members of the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions.
All members of the community and members of the local media are encouraged to attend.
