Serino Encourages Community Members to Take Advantage of Library Resources
CARMEL, NY—In an effort to remind community members of the various resources offered by our public libraries and to promote childhood literacy, New York State Senator Sue Serino was at the Kent Public Library in Carmel for ‘Story Hour’ on Thursday, October 7, 2015.
Senator Serino, who secured a $4,000 state education grant this year for the library, joined the library’s Board of Directors for a tour of the facility and is pictured above reading to a group of children during the story hour.
