SENATOR CROCI SECURES FUNDING FOR WILLIAM FLOYD SCHOOL DISTRICT

Mastic, NY – New York State Senator Thomas Croci announced he has secured $60,000 in additional state funding for the William Floyd School District.

“I am pleased to have been able to secure this funding for the William Floyd School District on behalf of their students, parents and staff.  Overall, I was able to bring over $114 million in state aid to the William Floyd School District in 2015. William Floyd is one of the many wonderful school districts I have the privilege to represent and ensuring our schools have the funding and resources they need has been and will remain a top priority for me as a Senator. It was great to be back at Floyd today with Superintendent Coster and his staff and I look forward to working with them on all education matters,” said Senator Croci.

Superintendent Coster indicated the funding will be used a new kiln for the art room, renovations and the modernization of the high school library, resources for the athletic department and support for their Youth and Government program.
