(QUEENS, NY) With Pre-K signups now underway across the City, State Senator Tony Avella announced today that his District Office has a limited number of information booklets containing details about the enrollment process as well as a directory of schools in Queens.
The directories, provided by the New York City Department of Education, contain more than 100 pages of important information about how and where to enroll your child in Pre-K. The booklets include details – such as location, contact information, school features and number of available seats – for every Pre-K site in Queens, broken down by education district. Each pamphlet also contains one application along with instructions on how to properly complete it.
“With so many options available for Pre-K this year, it is essential that parents are given all the information they need to make the best choice for their children as they enter school for the first time. This material is full of helpful information and is a great resource for parents looking to enroll their children in Pre-K. I urge parents to stop by my District Office as soon as possible and get one of these booklets before they are gone,” said Senator Avella.
Parents who are interested in receiving this information about Pre-K signups should contact Senator Avella’s District Office at 718-357-3094 or visit the office at 38-50 Bell Boulevard, Suite C, Bayside.
