Senator Bill Larkin Has Secured Funding for Critical Local Infrastructure

Albany, NY - Senator Bill Larkin (R, C – Cornwall-On-Hudson) proudly announced today that his continuing commitment to improve our local infrastructure has resulted in over $7.6 million dollars to address the needs of our local roads, highways and bridges. The funding is a part of $438 million allocated state wide through the Consolidated Local Streets and Highway Improvement Program (CHIPS) and an additional $50 million to repair damage caused by this winter’s severe weather.
“Our local roads and bridges are vital to our communities and keep the economy of the Hudson Valley growing” said Senator Larkin. “This funding sends a strong message, that New York State is committed to our local infrastructure.”
Securing state funds to improve local roads, highways and bridges has always been one of Senator Larkin’s highest priorities while in office.
“Our municipalities depend on this vital state funding to maintain the safety of our infrastructure and I am proud to have secured the necessary funds to deliver real result for our communities.”
