Sen. Valesky is hosting a free Community Resources Fair at the Southwest Community Center on Thursday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. All area residents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Representatives from local nonprofits and government agencies will be on hand to answer questions regarding health care and insurance, financial planning for college, housing, veterans services, family planning, and more. Attendees can also stop by the Office of the State Comptroller Unclaimed Funds to find out if they have unclaimed funds and file a claim. Assemblywoman Pam Hunter will be sponsoring a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
