Munsey Park 5th Graders Talk About Government with Senator Martins

     Munsey Park Elementary School’s fifth grade students recently welcomed Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) to their school to talk about government.

    Senator Martins talked with the school’s entire fifth grade class about his job as a State Senator, the legislative process of how bills become law, and a variety of current issues.   He also answered questions from each of the students in Mr. Putnam’s class, all of whom dressed up as Presidents for the occasion.
