Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) announced that he has secured $100,000 in state funding for a road improvement project in the Village of Plandome Heights.
The Village will use the state funds to resurface Cove Drive and other roads in the village. According to the Village, the improvements are projected to be completed by the end of this year. The improvement project will build upon the Village’s project to repair The Waterway/The Neck, which is also supported by state funding Senator Martins secured.
“This project will build upon the Village’s efforts to make its roads safer, smoother, and better for residents. I’m happy to support this project to improve the quality of life in Plandome Heights,” said Senator Martins.
“The residents of Plandome Heights appreciate the continued support of Senator Martins in making these projects possible. With this grant, we will be able to do more work than we would be able to do on our own and, as a small village, we appreciate that support,” said Village of Plandome Heights Mayor Ken Riscica.
