Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently congratulated the Manhasset High School Girls Cross Country Team on winning the 2015 Nassau County Class II Championship.
“The Manhasset Girls Cross Country Team has earned a place among the elite. Every team dreams of having a championship season, but only a select few ever achieve it. Winning the county title was a direct result of the team’s talent, drive, and work ethic. Congratulations to the team on this wonderful accomplishment,” said Senator Martins.
Senator Martins presented the team with a legislative resolution he sponsored, which was passed by the Senate, in recognition of their accomplishment. With passage of the resolution, their names and achievement will forever be part of the New York State Senate’s official record.
