Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) recently congratulated the Manhasset High School Girls Tennis Team on winning the 2015 Nassau County Championship.
“Winning a championship requires the right combination of talent, commitment, and determination. After countless hours of training, practice and sheer hard work, these girls accomplished something really special. Congratulations to them on bringing the county championship home to Manhasset,” said Senator Martins.
Senator Martins presented the team members and coach Eileen Cuneo with a legislative resolution he sponsored, which was passed by the Senate, in recognition of their accomplishment. With passage of the resolutions, their names and achievement will forever be part of the New York State Senate’s official record.
