Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District, pictured left) recently honored Chief Robert Schnall (pictured right) for his 50 years of service to the Williston Park Fire Department and the Williston Park community.
Chief Schnall joined the Department in June 1966 and has served in numerous leadership capacities throughout his 50 years of service, including Chief of the Department from 1980-1982. Earlier this year, he was asked once again to serve as a Chief and was elected Second Assistant Chief without opposition.
Senator Martins presented Chief Schnall with a proclamation from the New York State Senate in recognition and appreciation of his 50 years of devoted community service.
