Senator Martins Speaks To Manhasset-Port Washington Kiwanis Club

     Senator Jack M. Martins (R-7th Senate District) served as the guest speaker at a recent meeting of the Manhasset-Port Washington Kiwanis Club. 

     Senator Martins discussed a number of different issues with the members, including the multi-billion dollar income tax cut and state education aid increase for local schools that were part of the recently adopted State Budget; workforce development; and his joint efforts with Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel and Residents For a More Beautiful Port Washington to secure state funding for a ground water study to give localities the tools they need to protect our drinking water.
