State Senator James Sanders Jr. (D-Rochdale Village) met with Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the Archbishop of New York, on Wednesday, January 6, 2015, in Albany. The religious leader was in the state capitol to kick off the 2016 legislative session with an opening prayer. “I found him to be warm, caring and very funny,” Sanders said. “I was amazed by his sense of humor. We spoke of human things, not of war or crisis. We just had a human moment.”
