Awards Breakfast Celebrates Achievements of Over 50 Parent Leaders in the Bronx
BRONX, NY – State Senator Jeff Klein (D-Bronx/Westchester) hosted his Annual Educational Leadership Breakfast, to celebrate the achievements of the parent leaders in the 34th senate district at F&J Pine Tavern on Thursday.
Senator Klein recognized the contributions of outstanding educational leaders from parent teacher associations, home school associations, and community education councils.
“I am proud to recognize these dedicated parent leaders, who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to our children. Parent engagement is crucial to a student’s educational success. We must continue to work together to stand up for our youth and our communities and ensure that our teachers and schools get all the resources and support they need,” said Senator Klein.
Co-hosted by Healthfirst, over 200 attendees enjoyed a welcome breakfast, keynote address, and awards ceremony. Sister Patricia Wolf, RSW, President of St. Catherine Academy performed the invocation.
Parent leaders from over 50 schools from throughout The Bronx received awards.
