(Middletown, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) is pleased to announce that the Village of Goshen has been awarded a $50,000 grant to make renovations to the Village’s Police Headquarters. The money was secured by Senator Bonacic through the State Municipal Grant Program. The funds will help the Village restore the exterior of their police headquarters.
“I am pleased to have been able to secure this funding for the Village of Goshen that will allow them to make necessary improvements to their police headquarters,” said Senator Bonacic. “This renovation will continue to allow the Village of Goshen Police Department to continue its mission of serving the residents, while also saving taxpayers money.”
"I would like to thank Senator Bonacic for his continued support for the Village of Goshen. This funding for our Police Station will help preserve the historic building's integrity and improve the aesthetic of the downtown. This work aligns with our continued goals of our Goshen 2020 vision to revitalize the downtown and improve our infrastructure," said Village of Goshen Mayor Kyle Roddey.
