January 15, 2016
(Middletown, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) is pleased to announce that he has secured a $75,000 grant for the Town of Goshen to make infrastructure improvements at Town Hall. The money was secured through the State Municipal Grant Program. The money will help the Town install a new drainage system and catch basin at Town Hall, and also complete approximately 20,000 square feet of asphalt resurfacing.
“I am confident that these funds will be of significant benefit to the taxpayers in the Town of Goshen,” said Senator Bonacic. “These improvements will allow the Town officials to better serve the residents, while also saving taxpayer money.”
“I am extremely pleased to have these funds available, especially in a time where municipalities are increasingly trying to live within their means. The grants are monumental in allowing us to maintain our facilities, and I thank Senator Bonacic for his efforts,” said Town of Goshen Supervisor Douglas Bloomfield.
