Senate Majority Leader John Flanagan (2nd Senate District) recently thanked Kings Park’s Thomas Giordano for his work as a summer intern. The 2013 Smithtown High School West graduate and current James Madison University senior worked with Senator Flanagan’s district office staff to assist the residents of the 2nd Senate District.
Thomas is interested in government service and is majoring in international business. He is involved in his co-ed community service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega at school and enjoys working with James Madison University's Valley Scholars Program, which works with underprivileged middle school and high school students in the Shenandoah Valley.
“Thomas was a great addition to the staff and a remarkable young man who was very helpful to our office. I thank him for his assistance and wish him all the best in the upcoming school year," said Senator Flanagan.
