Senator Serrano Calls For The MTA To Repaint The 161st Street Yankee Stadium Subway Station

Senator Serrano continued to urge the MTA chair, Thomas Prendergast, to provide much-needed upkeep at the 161st Street Yankee Stadium subway station. The 161st Street subway station is an iconic transportation hub and a gateway to the Bronx for many tourists. The Senator wrote a letter asking the MTA to better maintain this important station starting in 2016. The letter was also signed by Congressman Jose E. Serrano, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Council Member Vanessa Gibson, and Assemblymember Latoya Joyner.
