Senator Serrano gave remarks during Council Member Vanessa Gibson's Clergy Connection Brunch at the Bronx Museum. The Clergy Brunch was an event aimed at promoting the importance of local clergy groups and looking at new ways to end senseless gun violence. Senator Serrano joined Council Member Vanessa Gibson, Deputy Borough President Aurelia Greene and Executive Director of the Governor's Office of Faith Based Community Development Services Karim Camara in addressing these important initiatives.
"I was happy to have joined our amazing Bronx Deputy Borough President Aurelia Greene and Council Member Vanessa L. Gibson at the Clergy Connection Brunch. Local clergy groups have been at the forefront of every important social justice movement in the South Bronx. I look forward to continuing to work closely with my colleagues, and local community clergy groups on the issues that affect our communities."
