Senator Serrano Honors Earth Day Poster Contest Winners

New York State Senator Jose M. Serrano visited the Mott Haven Academy Charter School in the South Bronx to present Nyla Jones and Sarai Bazan with certificates for winning the 2016 New York State Senate Earth Day Poster Contest.

"I recently had the pleasure of meeting our Earth Day poster contest winners from the Mott Haven Academy Charter School. This year we received many outstanding posters that exemplify the creativity of the young people in the 29th Senatorial District. Each entry displayed tremendous originality and vision as well as obvious concern for the ecological future of our communities and our state. Congrats Nyla and Sarai!
