"I am very honored to have received the 2015 Community Service Award from the West Side Federation of Neighborhood & Block Associations for my work on education, affordable housing & public health. I feel so blessed to be able to work with such a great group of progressive colleagues and organizations throughout the many neighborhoods I represent. Receiving this award was extra special because it was presented to me by my great friend & mentor Comptroller Scott M. Stringer."
