April 13, 2016
Community Blood Drive: Tomorrow, Thursday, April 14, from Noon to 7 p.m. at the West Crescent Fire Company, 1440 Crescent Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
During "National Volunteer Month" throughout April, the American Red Cross is celebrating the contributions of its volunteers and is asking people to become blood and platelet donors. Every day, the Red Cross must collect 14,000 blood donations. Volunteer blood donors are needed to help meet the needs of patients and are the only source of blood and platelets for those in need of transfusions. There is no artificial substitute for blood. Donors of all blood types, especially those with types AB, O, B negative and A negative, are needed to help ensure blood is available for patients this spring.
You can make a lifesaving difference this April by becoming a blood donor. Thank you!
