Hudson, NY – Senator Kathy Marchione (R,C,I-Reform, Halfmoon), Chair of the Senate’s Local Government Committee, today invited constituents to be her guest at the 24th annual “Golden Gathering” on Saturday, October 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Columbia-Greene Community College.
Now in its 24th successful year, the Golden Gathering is a free community health and wellness fair featuring over 75 exhibitors and free health care services and information. This year’s Golden Gathering will feature:
Free Senior Citizen ID cards courtesy of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office
Flu Shot Clinic (attendees with health care insurance are asked to please bring their health insurance card)
Free flu shots for uninsured sponsored by Mid-Hudson Cable
Free blood pressure, vision and hearing screenings, safety tips
Free reusable tote bags and refreshments
Free door prizes for attendees
Classic car show
Elvis tribute artist
And much, much more!
The Golden Gathering is a free community-based health and wellness event that improves the quality of life for Columbia County senior citizens and their families. The Golden Gathering is sponsored by Senator Kathy Marchione and is co-sponsored by Columbia-Greene Community College.
