Senator Kevin Parker Provides Over 1,000 Toys To Children Throughout Central Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY (12/22/16) – Just in time for the holidays, State Senator Kevin Parker distributed over 1,000 toys to various churches, non-profit organizations and schools throughout Central Brooklyn.  This year’s Annual Toys For Tots Giveaway was held in conjunction with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Delta Rho Omega Chapter.  The giveaway was made possible through donations from companies such as Marines Toys for Tots, Metro Plus, Health First and the Brooklyn-Long Island Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc

“Every year I am excited about organizing this toy giveaway for constituents throughout my district and the surrounding areas,” said Senator Kevin Parker. “There are so many community organizations that work to provide resources to children in their community; I take pride in providing toys that they can distribute to the children during the holiday season. I applaud all of the organizations that have donated and collected toys for the giveaway. Together we can truly make a difference and bring joy to many families this holiday season,” concluded the Brooklyn lawmaker.
