SENATOR GOLDEN TOWN HALL MEETING CONTINUES EFFORTS TO RESTORE HOMES DAMAGED BY SUPER STORM SANDY

Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) will be hosting a town hall meeting to address continuing issues still facing many residents rebuilding in the wake of Superstorm Sandy. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, 7:00 p.m. at P.S. 277 located at 2529 Gerritsen Avenue.
The following agencies will be in attendance to answer questions and offer continued assistance to residents: New York City Department of Buildings, New York City Build it Back Program, Neighborhood Housing Services, Brooklyn Housing and Family Services, New York City Department of Environmental Protection, and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
Senator Golden has hosted regular town hall meetings since Superstorm Sandy made landfall in October 2012 to give affected residents of his district an opportunity to discuss ongoing recovery efforts with key officials. Members of the media are welcome.
