Senator Patrick M. Gallivan (R-C-I, Elma) is once again being honored by the New York Farm Bureau for his ongoing support of agriculture issues during the 2015 legislative session. The New York Farm Bureau included Gallivan in its distinguished “Circle of Friends.”
“Hard working farmers across the state have made agriculture New York’s leading industry,” Gallivan said. “I am honored to be recognized by the New York Farm Bureau and will continue to work with everyone in the agricultural community to help expand the industry and keep it strong,” Gallivan said.
The New York Farm Bureau says the “Circle of Friends” honor is based upon each legislator’s voting record on issues of importance to New York agriculture and is given to those who actively support farm families.
“On behalf of New York Farm Bureau, I would like to thank you for your positive voting record in support of the farm community and welcome you as a member of our Circle of Friends for the 2015 Legislative Session,” said President Dean Norton in a letter to Gallivan.
Gallivan has been named to the Farm Bureau’s “Circle of Friends” annually since taking office in 2011.
