Senator Patrick M. Gallivan (R-C-I, Elma) is sponsoring a pair of Family Health & Safety Fairs where dozens of local vendors will offer health screenings, advice and safety information free of charge. Vendors include both public and private sector organizations, law enforcement agencies and other first responders. Blood donations will also be accepted at each event.
The events will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday April 9 at the West Seneca Senior Center at 4620 Seneca Street in West Seneca and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday April 30 at the Collins Center Fire Hall at 3514 Main Street in Collins Center.
“We’ve brought everyone together in one place so that residents have a chance to talk with experts from various agencies to learn health and safety tips and how to improve their quality of life,” Gallivan said. “I encourage everyone to attend one of these two community events.”
The free events offer residents a chance to participate in health screenings and to learn more about local health-related services in Western New York. The events will also feature an American Red Cross blood donation center, a car-seat safety check and child identification cards.
This is the third annual Health and Safety Fair sponsored by Senator Gallivan.
