REMINDER: RITCHIE’S OSWEGO COUNTY JOB FAIR IS HAPPENING ON MAY 19TH

State Senator Patty Ritchie is reminding job-seekers that her Oswego County Job Fair will take place on Thursday, May 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Fulton Community Ice Arena, located at 605 West Broadway in Fulton.   

The free event is slated to feature more than 40 employers, many of which are looking to hire right away.  In addition, new to the job fair this year will be on-site resume-writing assistance, which will help those without a resume craft one on the spot with help from local career experts. 

“Getting on the path to a successful career often times depends on the connections you make,” said Senator Ritchie.

“My Oswego County Job Fair is a perfect event for anyone looking to reenter the workforce, or for a career change to make those connections.  I’m hopeful that people will take advantage of this opportunity to meet one-on-one with employers and land their next job.”

Those interested in attending Senator Ritchie’s job fair can save time by preregistering here.  Job seekers are also encouraged to bring their resumes with them—or information that can be used to help craft a resume at the event—and “dress for success.”
