RITCHIE ANNOUNCES 2016 ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY JOB FAIR

State Senator Patty Ritchie is encouraging those looking to enter the workforce, or for a career change to attend her St. Lawrence County Job Fair, which is taking place on Thursday, May 26th in Ogdensburg.

Featuring nearly 40 employers—with new participants being added daily—the event is being hosted at the Richard G. Lockwood Civic Center, located at 141 W. River Street in Ogdensburg from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

“When it comes to landing a new job, face-to-face contact with prospective employers often times can be key,” said Senator Ritchie. 

“Through this event, job-seekers will have an opportunity to talk personally with dozens of local employers, many of which are looking to hire right away.  I’m hopeful that those who are looking for work, or just for a career change will take advantage of this great event.”

Those who are interested in attending can save time by preregistering here.  Job seekers are also encouraged to bring their resumes with them and “dress for success.” In addition, a list of participating employers can also be found on Senator Ritchie’s website.
