Ritchie Announces Free Rides for Seniors to Upcoming Health and Wellness Fair

State Senator Patty Ritchie is urging Oswego County senior citizens to take advantage of free bus rides to her upcoming Health and Wellness Fair, which will take place on Wednesday September 21^st.

Made possible by Oswego County Opportunities and Exelon, busing will be available on three separate routes including Constantia and Phoenix; Sandy Creek, Parish and Mexico and Oswego, Hannibal and Fulton on the day of the Senior Health and Wellness Fair.

“I know that for many seniors, getting to and from places you need or would like to go can be a challenge,” said Senator Ritchie.

“I want to make sure that every person who would like to attend my Senior Health and Wellness Fairs has a way to get there. I would like to thank Oswego County Opportunities and Exelon for providing busing that will help more people take part in this important event, which offers seniors a day of fun, friends and learning how to stay healthy as they age.”

Busing routes for Senator Ritchie’s Oswego county Senior Health and Wellness Fairs are as follows:

Route 1: Constantia/Phoenix

Return buses will depart the Senior Health and Wellness Fair at 1:00 p.m.

The event—which will take place at the Fulton Community Ice Arena, 605 West Broadway in Fulton—runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and will feature over 50 exhibitors offering health checks, wellness tips, no cost flu shots available with your Medicare or insurance ID, entertainment and a free lunch prepared by chefs-in-training from Oswego County CiTi.
