Ritchie Gets Close Up Look at New 10th Mountain Division Monument
July 8, 2016
State Senator Patty Ritchie joined community members recently to get a firsthand look at a new monument in Watertown’s Thompson Park that pays tribute to 10th Mountain Division heroes.
Last year, Senator Ritchie secured $50,000 in funding to assist with the construction of the monument—known as the “Honor the Mountain” Monument—which contains images depicting the 10th Mountain Division’s history from WWII to more recent conflicts.
