January 22, 2016

After 4 successful years, New York State Senator Phil Boyle will once again host his Annual Pet Food Drive in conjunction with Live, Love, Bark and Long Island Cares. In an effort to help local animals in need, Senator Boyle’s District Office will be taking donations of pet food and supplies from February 1st to February 29th.

“Last year, animal lovers throughout my district and beyond generously donated 1,781 pounds of pet food and supplies during my Annual Pet Food Drive,” said Senator Phil Boyle. “This charitable event has proven to be a great way to provide struggling Long Islanders with the supplies they desperately need to care for their beloved family pets. That’s why I am asking residents to show their continued support for our local animals by taking part in this year’s Pet Food Drive.”

Senator Boyle’s District Office will be collecting pet supplies for dogs, cats, and pets of all shapes and sizes. Items being accepted include, but are not limited to, bags of pet food, canned food, pets treats, bedding, kitty litter, cages, collars, leashes and new pet toys.  All donations can be dropped off at Senator Phil Boyle’s District Office, located at 69 West Main Street in Bay Shore, Monday through Friday anytime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Special arrangements can be made for after hour’s drop-offs by contacting the Senator’s District Office at (631) 665-2311.
