FUNKE TO HOST ANNUAL 55+ FUN FAIR TOMORROW

Senator Rich Funke will host his annual 55+ Fun Fair tomorrow, Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Eastside Family YMCA. Funke is partnering with Town of Penfield Supervisor Tony LaFountain to offer the free and open to the public event, which will feature free refreshments, cooking demonstrations, fitness seminars, informational materials, games, arts and crafts, and prizes and giveaways. 

“Join Supervisor Tony LaFountain and me for a fun and informative evening at the Eastside Y tomorrow for my Annual 55+ Fun Fair,” said Funke. “It will feature demonstrations, seminars, games, and giveaways from a variety of community partners, all with our generation in mind. This is a free and open to the public event, so please feel free to bring a friend or two. Hope to see you there!”

Participating organizations will be on-site to offer information, demonstrations, and activities. They include: the Eastside Family YMCA, the St. John Fisher College School of Pharmacy, the St. John Fisher College School of Nursing, 55+ Magazine, Lollypop Farm,  Lifetime Care, the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, the Veterans Outreach Center, Wickham Farms, and the Monroe County Parks Department, among many others.
