Ortt Delivers a Total of $62,500 to Western Niagara County Libraries

Senator Rob Ortt (R,C,I – North Tonawanda) today delivered a total of $62,500 to public libraries throughout the western portion of Niagara County. The Senator secured the funds as part of this year’s state budget. The money can be used to assist with educational services and programming, purchasing materials, renovations, operations, or events that serve the community.
The amount of Senate grant money to the county libraries is as follows:
Lewiston Public Library - $20,000
Niagara Falls Public Library - $20,000
North Tonawanda Public Library - $7,500
Ransomville Free Library - $5,000
Sanborn-Pekin Free Library - $5,000
Youngstown Free Library - $5,000
The area library directors came together at the Lewiston Public Library for a ceremonial check presentation.
