Flushing, NY—Senator Toby Ann Stavisky (D-Flushing) signed on to the Clean Conscience Pledge today as part of her ongoing commitment to substantial ethics reform in the State Legislature.

“Over the past couple of years, we have seen individuals who have taken advantage of their position, be held accountable for their inexcusable actions,” Senator Toby Ann Stavisky said. “I applaud the small steps we have taken, but we need to do more and soon. I have always been committed to strengthening our ethics laws stand proudly with my colleagues and sign on to this pledge. New Yorkers deserve the comfort in knowing their representatives are working to improve the quality of life for constituents. This goes beyond party lines. We must join together and say ‘it’s time for reform.’”
