Senator Larkin: Orange County Sportsmen Groups Visit State Capitol
March 17, 2016
Senator Bill Larkin (R-39th District) welcomed members of several Orange Country sportsmen organizations to the State Capitol this week. During their visit, the sportsmen groups discussed ways the Legislature can better protect and promote the state’s outdoor activities and talked about their support for legislation that would create uniform pistol licensing requirements, expand pre-license pistol training, and ensure timely issuing of pistol permits as well as the need to repeal the SAFE Act.
“Thank you to all of the sportsmen and women from Orange County who visited my Albany office,” said Senator Larkin. “As state legislators we should never lose sight of the fact that we were sent to Albany to protect gun rights, not take them away.”
