“I have long supported investments in our local rail operations, because quality, reliable freight service is integral to economic development planning and job creation efforts. Over the past few years, STERA’s Olean rail yard has experienced substantial refurbishment and this investment will continue to build on their good work. Having the rail yard at its best operational level will encourage businesses, both locally and from outside the region, to use rail freight, which gets people working,” said Senator Young.
