“Freight rail has been a fundamental part of economic development efforts in Livingston County. The Livonia, Avon & Lakeville Railroad has been investing in the community, and this state funding will augment and enhance their commitment. I supported this project because continued availability of reliable, quality freight service will be a boost for job creation efforts by businesses of all sizes,” said Senator Young.
