Senator Elaine Phillips Attends Manhasset/Great Neck E.O.C.’S Thanksgiving Dinner

Senator Elaine Phillips recently attended the Manhasset/Great Neck Economic Opportunity Council’s annual Thanksgiving Dinner.

“The Manhasset/Great Neck E.O.C. provides children in our community with essential programs and services that help pave the way for a successful future,” Senator Elaine Phillips said. “Thank you to Stephanie Tillman and Andre Vanterpool for inviting me to this year’s annual Thanksgiving dinner, and for all you do giving back to the children and families in our communities.”

Earlier this year, Senator Phillips secured $49,000 in state funding for the Manhasset/Great Neck E.O.C. to help fund more youth programs in the community.

The Manhasset/ Great Neck E.O.C. offers a variety of programs that provide children with a safe, enriching and fun experience. Children in the center’s summer program are taught self-esteem, self-confidence, and responsibility through a wide range of educational activates and sports.
