Senator Elaine Phillips recently met with the Mineola High School Student Organization, the school’s student government.
“The future of our government, local, state and national, depends upon the interest and participation of young people like those at Mineola, and I appreciated the opportunity to spend time with the students discussing fundamentals of our state government and civics,” Senator Elaine Phillips said. “Thank you to Principal Whittney Smith and educator Krista O’Donnell for inviting me to meet with the Mineola High School Student Organization to listen to the ideas of our future community leaders.”
