Senator Elaine Phillips Secures $100,000 Grant For Carle Place School District

Senator Elaine Phillips today announced she has secured a $100,000 State and Municipal (SAM) Grant for the Carle Place School District. The funding will help the school district offset capital improvement costs to provide further educational opportunities for students.
“A safe and healthy learning environment is essential to a well-rounded education,” Senator Elaine Phillips said. “This funding will help the Carle Place School District offset capital improvement costs to continue providing students with the resources they need to succeed in school.”
“The Carle Place Board of Education and our entire community is indebted to Senator Phillips for her generous contribution to our school district, said David J. Flatley, Superintendent of the Carle Place School District. “These funds will be applied to the enhancement of our security systems. Senator Phillips continues to be an important partner in advancing our goal of a safe environment for our students, teachers, families, and friends.”
