April 13, 2017
Senator Elaine Phillips (R-Manhasset) recently attended the annual “Night on the Town” in Mineola to support the fight against blood cancer.
Night on the Town, which is jointly sponsored by Warriors for a Cause and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, raises funds to help combat blood cancer. It featured food from a number of local restaurants, live entertainment and raffle prizes from local businesses, with every dollar raised going to support the Leukemia & Lyphoma Society’s efforts to find a cure for blood cancer. This year’s event raised an estimated $150,000 for the cause.
