Senator Elaine Phillips (R-7th Senate District) recently congratulated Benjamin Ackert, Philip Passes, George Theodosopoulos and Lazarus Ziozis of Boy Scout Troop 97 in Manhasset for earning scouting’s highest honor; the rank of Eagle Scout.
Senator Phillips presented the four scouts with legislative resolutions she sponsored honoring them for achieving Scouting’s highest rank. The New York State Senate unanimously adopted the legislative resolutions on April 25th. Passage of the resolutions officially places the boys’ names and accomplishment into the New York State Senate’s official record.
