Senator Phillips Honors Schreiber High School’s Six Nationally Recognized Student “Scholars”

Senator Elaine Phillips (R-Manhasset) recently honored six Schreiber High School students for earning national recognition in the country’s oldest high school science competition.

Samantha D’Alonzo, Maria Kogan, Dylan Langone, Michael Nachman, Lauren Seidman, and Allison Winter were each named “scholars” as first round winners in the Regeneron Science Talent Search.  The six were among 300 students nationwide who achieved that honor.

Senator Phillips sponsored legislative resolutions, which were passed by the Senate, recognizing the students’ achievement.  With passage of the resolutions, their names and accomplishment will forever be part of the New York State Senate’s official record.
