Senator Phillips Informs Residents How To View Executive Budget Materials

     With the State Budget process now underway, Senator Elaine Phillips (R-Manhasset) is informing residents how they can get information about the Governor’s Executive Budget proposal.  The Executive Budget proposal is the first step of the State Budget process.

     “The State Budget affects every single resident, which is why every resident deserves access to information about the budget proposal.  Transparency matters,” said Senator Phillips.  “Making this information readily available is important to ensure that people can get information and participate in the process.”   

     Senator Phillips has created a link on her website providing access to information about the Governor’s Executive Budget proposal.  Copies of the Executive Budget bills, briefing overviews of the budget proposal, information on the Governor’s state aid proposals for school districts and municipalities and schedules for joint legislative budget hearings are available on the site.
