Senator Elaine Phillips (R-Manhasset) recently welcomed members of the Port Washington Parents Council to her district office to discuss education issues. The Parents Council is the coordinating board of the individual Parent-Teachers Associations and Home School Associations in the Port Washington School District.
Senator Phillips discussed a number of different issues with the parents, including the Port Washington School District’s programs and services and the Governor’s state education aid proposal for Port Washington. Senator Phillips reiterated her pledge to fight for as much state education aid as possible for both the Port Washington School District and all Long Island’s schools.
