Senator Phillips Speaks With Hicksville Community Council

     Senator Elaine Phillips (R-Manhasset) recently served as the guest speaker at a meeting of the Hicksville Community Council.

     Senator Phillips spoke with the members about a number of issues, including her efforts to deliver tax relief by passing legislation to make the property tax cap permanent and restore Nassau County's senior tax abatement program; the Governor’s Executive Budget proposal and her efforts to protect Long Island’s drinking water.  Senator Phillips also answered questions from the audience.
