Senator Elaine Phillips (R-Manhasset) recently paid a visit to Mrs. DeFalco’s sixth grade class at Stewart Manor Elementary School as part of the school’s “Pick a Reading Partner” Program.
Senator Phillips talked with the class about her role as a State Senator, how ideas are turned into laws and what led her to get involved with public service. She also answered questions from the students.
