Senator Phillips Visits Port Washington’s Spectrum Designs Foundation

Senator Elaine Phillips (R-Manhasset) recently visited Spectrum Designs Foundation in Port Washington.
Spectrum Designs Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps to break down barriers for individuals with Autism by providing them with vocational training and employment. The foundation operates a fully functioning apparel decorating shop that employs teens and young adults with Autism, giving them work experience in an integrated setting.
Senator Phillips toured the facility and spent time with the staff to talk about the program and the benefits it provides.
